Who
is the Sunshine Kids?
All kids! The main goal of the Sunshine Kids Club
is to provide a place for "Kids to be Kids!" All
too often there are programs designed specifically for children
with disabilities or typical children. If there is any integration
in these programs, it is often trying to have children with
disabilities try to be a part of typical activites. However,
this is just another hinderance for them to be who they truly
are. The Sunshine Kids Club has designed activities for all
children to participate in, with or without disabilities.
It's a place for children to feel comfortable with each other
and surroundings no matter who they are.
Who
is elligible?
All children ages 5-18 are able to participate within
the Sunshine Kids Club. We include children from all
backgrounds.
How
do I join?
Interested families contact The Sunshine Kids Club
at (530) 776-5095 to sign up for one or many of the programs
at no cost.

It's
for the kids!
Children
within programs based on inclusion are better
able to meet the demands placed on them by their
surroundings. Through The Sunshine Kids Club,
children are able to explore their surroundings
in a safe, empowering environment.
Activities are constructed to include children
from all areas of life in order to provide the
most enriching environment for their communiciation
and interpersonal skill development.
